Geolander A/T-S
Okay so I'm gonna be getting some new tires on the runner and I wanted to know if anyone had tried out the Yokahama Geolander A/T-S yet. I have the Geolander A/T+II on our other runner right now and I really like them. The only reason I would stray to the A/T-S is Yokahama claims reduced noise, more agressive sidewall and the fact that if they are crappy tires I could return them, or so it seems. There is a 30 day trial period acording to the website, I'll have to look into that.
Or just tell me what you think of this tire based on this link

Don't know anything about these but also have the same ATII's like you and they're pretty darn good. This was of course before Yokohama decided to raise the prices and make them more competitive w/ the higher end tires.
If they were a good price, I would consider them but the Terragrapplers seem to be the tire of choice for now.

I had AT+IIs on my '97 Runner and they were a great tire for the cheap price I paid back in '04 but I think I like my Nittos better for overall on road/off road performance.

I think I'm gonna go with the A/T-S at least for 30 days then keep 'em if they are as good as the AT+II. I'll post a write up on that, soon I hope.
