i'd have to agree that the Revos are really great tires compared to the stock tires. The ride (or me) has softened quite a bit and there is absolutely no road noise either. Overall, I'm pretty happy.

none yet, ill be buying new wheels too. im pretty sure the stock backspacing wont work with my lift. since i already have tsl's on monster mods, i could try and wait for larger sizes

In my opinion, then if you want good on-road manners, above average off-road manners, above average wear life, and at least a 33x12.50, then get the Bridgestone Dualer MT's instead of the Revos.

but i just bought the tsl's i dont need more mud tires. we need revos in larger sizes, lets complain

I'm considering the Revos after I see how my Yoks do;so far they have had really good traction in the snow and did really well out in a open field of 5 inches of snow and did well climbing some inclines which were a combo of dirt and snow.

I think you guys (along with the reviews on tirerack) just made up my mind. I'm going to get the 285's. Tirerack is saying 150 a tire...anyone seen a better price than that? Thanks

Got them online about 2 years or so ago.
I had some 255/50/17 Pirelli Scorpion Zero's on them until I got the Revo's (they are 265/70/17).
Oh, I'll be washing the blue stuff off soon (Thanksgiving time).
Don't have the time at the moment though.

The easiest way I've found to remove the blue stuff is take it to a high pressure wash bay, and it comes right off without any trouble at all.
I'm not sure of the sizes, but all I know is my 285/75R16's are doing the trick for me, although eventually I would like to have a 33x12.50 or even 35x12.50 once I do some major fender trimming and no longer drive this thing on the road as much as I do now. Within 2 years, I'll have a company car, no gas expenses, no maintanence or oil changes, tire rotations or anything, so I'll be making my 4runner a trail only rig then. I can't wait for the day it happens, because things will be getting crazy then. Until then, and possibly even then, I'll be keeping the Revo's until I see someone(in a similarly equipped) runner do more than I can with my revo's. They rip!

Your 285/75/16 are essentially 33's now.
That size calculates to be 32.8" tall and 11.25" wide, (I'd have to check tirerack's spec sheet to know exactly though)
As stated, they don't make them in 35's or metric equivelent.
The 265/70/17 are 31.6" tall and 10.4" wide calculated, tirerack listed 31.7" tall, so they should run very close to those numbers.

As of now, the only bad thing that I have to say about the BFG A/T's is that the suck in the rain. I spin out everywhere, now granted, as my mileage can show you, I have a lead foot but...I still don't think they should spin out that easily. I have been seriously thinking about selling these tires and going with either the BFG muds if I can afford them when/if I decide to do it or to go with the Revo's....

I have 2K on the set of REVOs I got in late Sept, and so far I love 'em. I did find that they were a little squirrely until I dropped the pressure to 35, the dealer had set it at 38 psi. They are great on dry, very low noise. I was very suprised at how well they gripped in the rain. And I spent a day on muddy logging roads in the rain last week while hunting and didn't have any problems at all. I don't have any plans to do any 'rocking', not my thing, but I suspect they will get me out of any place I try to go. No snow to test 'em in yet, but it's a coming so I'll report on that soon. Mine, 275/70/16s set me back $169.00 each from local Firestone dealer, mounted, balanced, and with a road hazard warr. No rubbing, and I think they look great.

I gotta give the Revo's two thumbs up as well .
I've had mine since mid-September and driven in some very rainy conditions (typhoon) and no wet traction problems at all.
I've also been in all manner of beach sand and have had no problems in the sand either.
As the temps here are still hovering in the mid 70's to low 80's, there is NO possibilty of snow ever. It might get down into the low 60's in January. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
