Ive heard of it being rediculously tall but ive also thought about it a bit. not to sure if it could or has been done but then again anything is possible.
Ide say go with a 4.3 easy and powerfull only downside is its a chevy but then again the aftermarket is huge compared to the toyota's

4th gen frame+1st gen body... maybe a couple modified frame mounts/body mounts, and you've got the refinement of the 4th gen's drive train, and the cool ness of the 1st gen. I dunno, you could tilt the balance a little more than that either way. If you decided to do this, then you can be very creative. And it is also very likely that you have more dollars than sense.
