88 pickup 5vzfe swap

im trying to get my 3.4 ready to drop into my pickup by the end o the week. i have read alot on this website about this swap but it seemsthat i cant find anyone that is having the same issue as me. i have both motor mounts from the 3.0 on but i m trying to mount the power steering pump bracket back up but it will not fit due to the height of the bolt thats on the motor mount. what have people done to fix this issue? will the 3.0 power steering pump mount move over and work? use the grinder on the mount? or just use a bolt with a smaller head? thank you for your help

hmm somebody will have to chime in then for the newer models. But I would assume they are all the same. You are using the 3.4 PS bracket right??

That doesn't make sense. From what I recall, the power steering bracket doesn't go anywhere near the motor mount. Now the A/C bracket, on the other hand ...

I couldn't use the 3.0 A/C bracket on the 3.4 engine, but with a 3.4 A/C bracket, it worked fine with my 3.0 engine mounts. Do you have a picture of where the interference is?

For some reason, your motor mount doesn't look like it's the same one as mine. Are you sure it's a 3.0 mount?

It looks like you've cut it off, but the top holes should mount up to the uppermost holes you see in the first picture.

If you use the 3.0 mounts. which you should. Cut the ear off of the mount and the A/C bracket will work just fine. Mount also.

I used 3.0 engine mounts with a 3.4 A/C bracket and it fits perfect, without any need for modifications.
