35s on a 2nd gen

okay guys. so I know this has been brought up before and yes I did look around on here. anyway I still wanted your expert opinion for my specific build. I want to put 35s on a 2nd gen 4runner with a sas. I want to know how much lift I need to get them under the car without them rubbing. I don't want to lift too much or too little. I also want your Ideas on what type of leafs I should use in the back. I am going to be putting over 1500 pounds of stuff in the back and I don't want it to sag or if it does sag I want it to stay just about even with the front. the weight will stay there probably indefinitely as it will become my overland vehicle as I use it to travel world and that requires a lot of stuff to be put in the back. any advice on what I should do is welcome. I know someone makes HD rear leafs for Tacoma's just for an exploration rig. should I try to make that work or just use leafs that are a few inches taller then the front?

So do you already have the SAS installed or planning on it? If you are using a kit, you should be able to fit 35's with the 3 inch springs. You have to have some sort of a lift to run the typical high steer, usually around 4 inches which is plenty for 35's. For your spring question, maybe someone else can chime in as I have not really looked into coil springs since I really don't have to deal with it on my wheeling truck.

I am planing on doing it. I'm starting to collect parts and all. But I am using leafs over the entire vehicle. I'm doing a leaf conversion in the rear. sticking with coils would just be difficult. It sounds like most people go with about 3 inch springs for 35"s. I think ill just do 3 inch springs in the front but I have no idea what to do in the back. I am also going to use a kit. at least for the front because that includes high steer and everything I will need.

Your gonna be loading over 1500 lb? And you dont expect a sag? Thats alomst impossible!! Haha if your gonna go with a 3 inch in the front, go with a 4 inch in the rear. Cause the rear is heavier so itll level with the front.
