I cannot wait to take my son with me wheelin. I was asking Rob a ton of questions about how his little girl was doing at Superstition.

We have a baby sitter for all day Sunday.

It is cool that we are getting some good wheeling in before it gets so hot out there.

curran is the same way i tell him to stay close to the truck he walks away from it... he truly is just like his old man.....i've been accused of having a listening problem (more so since i've got married) but at least she's at the age where you can hold her till everyone parks. just keep her away from the cliff

Mikey as long as Alex will be there I am sure Makenna will be fine. I want her to have a day with Daddy, and what better way than go wheeling in daddy's big car.

dont worry the kids are coming. we need to do like a weekend campout at lake morena where we all go wheeling one day and then take the kids hiking or fishing the next. i love to take the kids wheeling but sometimes i feel they get kinda jipped..... it would be nice to get all the monkeys together and just do a fun trip that they get to kind of do what they want..... i know a great beach in baja too 5 hours from my doorstep to a wide open beach with good waves great fishing clamming and rockcrabs ( their claws taste so good)

Sorry Matt, no go for me. I'd love to cruise, but I've been out in the desert for the last 2 weekends and Alea wants to visit her friend up in Big Bear. The summer ain't gonna stop me though. I'll be camping and wheeling at night if nothing else.

Next run, I promise to bring my SWR meter.

We shoudl all meet up and cruise through different mall parking lots during the warm season. We can at least still get together with our trucks and climb over stuff.

Mall Crawlers!!

Corral Canyon is okay in the summer. THere are some trees to get shade for breaks and not nearly as hot as the desert.

BTW: does anyone have a source to get a good deal on a single new BFG MT. I got an odd ball with my used set since the tire shop damaged one and had to replace it with a brand new one. So I have 3 used ones at about 65% tread and 1 still with the size sticker on the tread. I would not need mounting just the tire.

May work out pretty well since I got 5 LC rims.

Yeah, I was thinking about building the base slider myself and then calling Josh to get him to bend some steel for the outer slide. I like the look of the rectangular/round tubing combo for the sliders.

I'm thinking about bringing Lukie on the trip this weekend and having other kids there makes it that much easier.

Andy.

Eric- I don't have any "hookups" really, but I can recommend checking the classifieds. I have found a ton of great deals on rims and or tires. I use a semi-odd size too so it isn't impossible.

check the classifieds here as well as:

www.craigslist.com
www.prerunners.net
www.dezertrangers.com
www.race-dezert.com
www.desertrides.com

I know that is a lot of places to look, but you might even find 4 for the price of one good one.

If Matt brings the camry, I'll bring the Hellica. I just bought a Prizm/Corolla yesterday, so if I roll the Hellica, it's ok.

not bad for IFS, huh?

I'm looking to find a small restaurant that we could meet at and get a better breakfast than the Carl's Jr. Breakfast Bomb. Anyone know of a good place?

Thanks Seth. I looked them over and nothing. Cool to have some more resources to look at for parts.
Thanks Again!
