I got the lift, rock sliders, roof rack and diff drop today. Its Christmas! So I have lots of work to do but may pull it off. I'm gonna post pic's of each step as I install in the Check out my truck gallery.

Hopin to help represent the 4Runners up there at BB.

Since the san diego crew is following this... Do you guys know of a place to weld on my sliders? I transfered to a "we got no welders" duty station at work so I cannot do it myself this time. Looks like SD area shops are charging $60/hour. Any help would rock!

Hey Eric, I'm thinking you could use our mig . Its kinda my brothers and hes working on a farm in washington this summer, so i have to ask his permission, but i'm thinking its a go. I'll be in touch, but definatly don't pay 60 bucks an hour.

Just got done returning Marc's PM about this. If you can hook this up I would owe you huge. I'm decent at arc(stick) welding so not sure if you guys can bring me up to speed w/ mig. Our frame steel is super mild and burns through very easily. I have heard that it is more forgiving than stick though. I will try anything once. Almost anything...
Thank you!!!!!

Guys, add me to the list...

I think I can make this one. Since I am near Lake Elsinore, I will just drive up Sat in the AM. BUT WHERE do we meet? I still have seen nothing on the exact meeting place.

Thanks, Jim

Last year everyone met at the Discovery Center on the north side of the lake. I have heard almost nothing about where the camping/meeting spot is. I keep checking on the TTORA Delphi Forums.

sorry I didn't get back with you in time. Today was busy. I did the diff drop, cranked the saws up to 2.5", put the trailor hitch back on, got an alignment and the new tires mounted. I'll send a PM now and hopefully we can hook something up.
thanks again
The runner is looking so good. The back is still alittle too high for my tastes but it should settle a bit. Big Bear should help this settling! I am very glad I went with the 265/75's. No body lift for me!
I'll put some pic's up Saturday. My wife Jody says now it looks like "my truck".

I plan on hitting the road between 7 and 7:30. I will be going right up the 15 to the 215. I will have my cell and CB on channel 4. If you need my cell # drop me a note.

I am ready to go now!! Big Bear is a blast, and a very nice change from the desert floor we will be seeing a lot this winter.

" The campsite will be off of 3N16, north of holcomb valley campground (for reference), and will be directly off of trail 3N07. Look for the *BLING* *BLANG* TTORA signs."

DIRECTIONS from highway 18:

-LEFT on highway 38 at first intersection
-LEFT on Poloque Canyon Rd (before discovery center)
-RIGHT at TTORA sign (will be arrow), continue to 3N16
-RIGHT on 3N16
-LEFT at 3N07 (If you pass holcomb valley campground, turn around)
-bear RIGHT on 3N07, and continue to follow TTORA signs

I might be heading up late friday night or early Saturday morning, haven't decided, a slim chance I'll be able to go up early friday, if I don't work....

WOW
I didn't even know I had those bling rims! Well, no, i have 16's. Thanks for pointing this out. Just got back from having Jeremy at Weld Tech weld on the sliders. He did a great job and very quickly also. Will put up pic's in "check out my Truck".

We should convoy up as a group. I was gonna leave a bit earlier but don't have to. Let me know if its cool with you two and where your meeting.

Eric--glad to hear Jeremy put your sliders on, he is a cool guy and does good work.

We can caravan up to BB if you want, but I don't get out of work until 6 and
I will be pushing it to get out of SD by 7:30. Hopefully by then the horrible traffic on the 15 will be better.

Marc
Lets see how the week unfolds. I have never been up there and am itching to see BB for the first time. I am off all day on Friday so whenever works for me. Working out some CB antena issues and the new Runner is ready to rock. You know us military types we always lean towards the strength in numbers train of thought. Convoy sounds good.

I'll be headed up Friday morning with Chris and one other TTORA member. Going to help set up signage and whatnot. Will probably run some other trails and explore a bit too before veryone starts showing up.

See you guys there.
