Regarding Pismoboy's map...
After the last run we took a walk on the boardwalk that goes over Oso Flaco lake. Pretty cool. It has a totally different entrance (south of city of Pismo by about 10 miles) and it was a nice area. The boardwalk goes over the lake about 10 feet off the water. Just hold on to your hats cause it is mighty windy there. Also. It is part of Oceano Dunes Vehicle Rec Area so your entrance fees to the beach will also cover the $4 entrance to that area.

SkyRat-
If you go further South in the dunes complex through the next town of Gudalupe is the Dunes Preserve. 13,500 acres of pure dunes. (compared to the small 1,000 acres of the off-road area).

Wherever you all decide to camp is fine by me. Just try and let us know so we can find you all! Perhaps we can get some giant Yotatech Flag for these events? I guess seeing 10 4Runners and Tacomas together might be just enough of a clue...

ALL-
I'd perfer one of the group spots along the sand hwy. They're more secluded from the wind and other people.
Also, when you order a reserved camping pass, where do you pick them up?????? how does it work?

chris,
i assume that it works like all other state parks i've camped at. you make your reservation, then yougo to the kiosk where we bought the passes last time. they should have have a list for every day of the names of the people that have there resv's beginning that day. you give them your name, they give you your pass, you don't pay anything (you already paid through reserveamerica). i am 99.99999999% certain that that is how it works. i have been reserving state park campsites through reserve america for years, and they have all worked that way.
reserve america has always sent an email confirmation to me, which i always bring with me at check in, just in case they can't find my reservations. never ahd a problem though.

I will stay with you guys no matter where you go. I love ya man!
I expect to get there around 10am on Saturday morning (again), because I am working late on Friday Night.
We do need a way to communicate with each other though. Channel 12 on the walkies, but what about a cell list of some sort?? I will mail you mine if you mail me yours...
