I am still planning on going, still have to deal with my rear tire/flatbed rub issue. maybe up[grade at least my master cyl to a v6 model and maybe my booster if I can find out what years had the dual diaphram and if I can find one in a junk yard. Hopefully my OEM skid plate I bought will hold up. lol. Stering still sloppy but held up ok my last time out there. Also have to pickup a backup alternator as I fried both of mine down there and on the run back, all due to mud getting into headlight sockets. haha. Have to "mudproof" the new alternator and my weber air filter yet too. Would have liked to get at least a BJ spacer and long add-a-leaf in as well to deal with my rear tire rub, but I doubt that's gonna happen. So I guess I will be hacking at my bed and making wheel wells.

you should do just fine. I am fully stock with just 31's. Most if not all of the hard stuff has bypasses. what year 4runner?

you should do ok, 92 toy is full stock too and I believe also on 31" tires. We won't be doing anything that hardcore anyway. I might try to push mine a little further this time and maybe "try" to stay outta the mud holes to save another alternator, but I doubt I will succeed. hahaha. There is one rock face I want to try and didn't have the nuts to try the first time. If a jeep on 31's can make it, dang it I can too. haha

BTW my last trip there all of the toyotas made it out alive, 1 had to limp out because of a busted gasket in a steering box, but was right back out the next day, only problem I had was a busted alternator, in which I already had a backup in my truck as I do like the mud pits. My steering system to my amazement held up and the joints are, to say the least, sloppy.

I can't say the same for some of the jeeps. If you search on here for the last Rausch Creek trip you will find a ton of photos and a breakdown of the 2 days. Toyotas ruled both days.

I'll be there with my basically stock pickup, I will be running 33's though. As long as you have 31's you should be alright. I'm sticking to the bunny trails I have a 5 hour drive.

I started off on all greens and some blue bypasses my first few trips in my second gen runner with bjs and 33"s then we started doing some harder stuff like snake bite, crossing rock creek and climbing boot hill. It was chalenge to say the least. I did brake a cv at the very end of a tricky black ten min in to our day but was able to get a cv shaft and get back on the trails. Thats when we attacked boot hill (with alot of finese!!)
Stock-ish toyotas can do so much more then anyone thinks. Dont be afraid just start out on the easy stuff and the as you build your confidence try some harder stuff.

I am heading up this weekend to try out my 1st gen runner and its gonna be a black and blue day, who knows might even get on the black-reds. I post some trail updates

I'll be heading up for the weekend, probably only wheeling on Sat. Were going to take our time getting there if we drive straight there its like 5 hours so were going to make it a scenic drive and take our time.

there are two parallel events for this, just saw the other one on here, can we all load up in the same, so I have an idea of how many are exactly going? Looks like I might be the event planner I guess haha. As I will be there Friday night before everyone else. 92 already said he'd wake my arse up if i still sleeping by the time he gets there.

Need to know approx. what time everyone is gonna be there by.

I also need to know how many of those going have a CB in there trucks. I know 92Toy doesn't as of "YET". We need a consensus on what channel as well to start off with. My vote is for channel 36. Might have to change based on usage when we all start to go out on the trails, but for those of us traveling at the same time.... Please include your radio handle as well if you use one or just use yur screen name here. Mine is Extreme and/or Deer Chaser (don't ask long story)

Also would like to know how many of use are planning on staying to wheel on Sunday as well. I am.

Group Name at the park will be YotaTech.
