PA Wheelers Event Planning
Gauging interest in a yotatech/ttora/others run. Thinking Rausch Creek Greens and some Blues. Nothing too hard.
June 25, 26 and 27th is the RC 2010 4runner Jamboree.
This ride will coincide with that event.
Seems like everyone at least here is either from Pittsburgh side or Harrisburg side. I wish I knew of some places to go wheeling somewhere in the middle.I would rather not have to make a run 6+ hours away as well I am sure none of you don't either.
Don't let the title fool you, this isn't gonna be just for the PA guys either. If your from, New York, Maryland, virginia, New Jersey, California (although I doubt you would want to drive out here haha) doesn't matter. Lifted stock don't matter.
Rausch Creek Off Road Park is a membership-based facility. There are no pre-requisites or waiting lists. All drivers and passengers must sign a membership application & liability waiver. Drivers and passengers age 16 and up are required to become members of the park which costs $15 per year and is good for one year from the date you join. Membership cards are given out when you join.
Children age 15 and younger are free, however, we require a parental waiver. All members under the age of 18 also require a parental waiver.
The daily entrance fee is $35.00 for the vehicle and driver. Passengers age 16 and up are $7.00 each (When a passenger joins the park, the $5.00 fee is waived that day). We offer free primitive camping for our members.
To speed up your registration and sign-in, please download the documents, fill them out, and bring them with you when you visit our facility. You'll get to go wheeln' sooner! The form requires the following info from BOTH DRIVERS AND PASSENGERS: Name, address, phone number, emergency contact info, driver's license number, vehicle description and license plate. Also, initial (do not check) the four individual waiver paragraphs. We need this information from passengers too.

I knew this was somewhere so i was going to join in on the chatter, but no chatter.
even if i knew i was going to have my truck all back together by then , i'm thinking June 9 is early for me.
i know the date isn't set in stone so lets just see WHO would be interested and WHEN they think they might be interested and WHAT kind of venue (meet and wheel, camping, mini vacation etc)
looking on the site, Rausch (or however it's spelled) is local to Hershey and that area so a coordinated effort may be put forth on my part to not just drive there, splash around and leave.
never been there so don't know the specifics of it.
also I saw the link to TTORA http://www.ttora.com/forum/showthread.php?t=150681 and see it didn't get much of a response.
but with my truck questionable and LUMPY's the same it's hard to ay I can definitely ake it...so I will mark as a maybe.

If y'all are looking to go to Rausch Creek in late June, why not go during the East Coast 4Runner Jamboree? More info:

Mine did, other than a mudded up broken voltage regulator in the alternator. Even my worn out sloppy steering stuff held up. Probably got mud into my already busted up cv boot too. Wonder how long that cv is gonna hold out now. haha. I think my truck sits about a half inch lower now in the rear. TIme for add-a-leafs or shooting for the deaver minipack like BlazeN8 did.

The weekend of June 25th. Anyone can go with anything. This is just the date of the 4Runner run as well. I had emailed them about the club having the park private or not and it's all public with a club run.
