Ahhh yes, ME TOO! Though I just found out yesterday that I need A LOT more done to my front end than just new cv's and wheel bearings. Well, I guess not a lot, but really time AND money consuming. I need to change out that dang steering spindle bushing to a needle bushing. It's causing this horrid clunking when I drive at slower speeds. Anyway, I'll get it all done by then.
OH! MIKE! I saw you in 4Wheeler Magazine! YOU SLY DOG!! NICE!

Add me to the list...
I will be up there with my son and nephews. We'll be staying at the campground. Need to know your camping location, arrive times, cell numbers and CB (or HAM) channels...

My g/f and I may be able to get there on Friday night. Which brings me to my next question... anyone know the number to reserve our spot so we can get in on friday around 11pm? I need to get a couple tow straps before I go and probably a receiver shackle. Hm... I need to replace my steering knuckle bushing with a needle bearing... and I need to change out my wheel bearings and put in new cv's... don't worry! I'll be there!

Cool. I just saw that on the 4RJ3 thread . I wonder how my pregnant g/f will fare out on the dunes... hahahah... We may have to keep it kind of mild so she doesn't get all achy and whatnot... heh heh

How many of you guys out there gonna be running open diffs??? I have a situation, right now I have KYB shocks and they were already on there from the previous owner and they are still in pretty good condition. They're really not that great off-road but its tolerable. See I don't know what to get before Pismo: a set of 4 Rancho RS9000's or a Powertrax Lockright??? Which would you guys recommend me getting???

Word, I'm going to be running open diffs... I have a ton of stuff to do to my truck before then... I'm confident that it'll get done. I probably won't have my sliders welded up in time, but I hope to have my BJ spacers, LC coils, new shocks, extended brake line all on before I go. Also, like I said earlier, I have those other repairs to make. The lift is probably going to go on the week before the trip!

Yeah, It's my daily driver, so hopefully a week of freeway/city driving will alert me of any probs before Pismo. I'll see if we can just hit some hills and stuff before we go. These next three weekends are going to be hectic with trying to get everything fixed or put on. Would anyone be willing to help me wrench on my truck one of these Sundays or Mondays before the trip? If I can get someone that's competent to help me, I'm sure it would go so much faster. It doesn't help that I usually work alone and without air tools... I wish there were some cool people that lived in Bakersfield...

who's gonna get there first?
not me, i'm gonna be rolling in until around 1am or so friday night (sat morning).
whoever gets there early that went to the pismo 4rj3 should set up camp in the same spot, ya?

I agree. My g/f and I MAY leave after I get off work on Friday night (7:30). So, we'll probably be there around 10 - 10:30. Hopefully someone is there already! I wonder how busy it will be that weekend.. I won't be able to reserve a spot until my next paycheck.
