I may have my truck running by then but I don't think I'll have my elocker or sliders installed by then.

Will it just be a meet up or will we do some trail run? There is not alot of places open this time of year. All I really know of is 5 mile area. I have never done the rattlesnake and constrictor trail out there. My buddy said that it's a good trail but the very last part is almost imposible.

I think it would be sweet to do a trail run (but my truck is near stock lol). I have heard about five mile, supposedly rattlesnake is an easy trail. Or, we could just do a quick meet up to plan something. I'm down for anything.

Let's do Rattlesnake. I've never been out there because I always miss the trips out.

The only weekends I can't do in the next month are this weekend (2/25) and march 10th. Other than that, I'm free.

That's a nice truck, where did you find the videos? I'd like to see what that trail is all about.

My buddy has a jk and last weekend some of the jeep guys ran the trail and there was a few stock jeeps that did the trail. I'm sure your truck could do it.

Just looked up some videos on YouTube. This is the end of the constrictor.

Here are some pictures that a member(wormhole) posted, it doesn't look bad at all.

Looking down into one of the old mines in the area

Well from what I have heard is that rattlesnake leads into constrictor, I think some of the more intense videos could really be constrictor. Because they look compleatly opposite.

So what weekend are we thinking about?

Sundays would be fine with me. You might as well beat up your old skid plate before replacing.

What Sunday's work. How many people are going on this? Also I don't have a skit plate for it right now, never hit anything without one but I thought it would be nice to have one, is it alright if my buddy comes along in his jk. He has been on the trail before,

Any weekend excluding the 10th+11th works for me.

Vehicle-wise it looks like traben27 wants to go with his 4Runner, i will be going in my Pickup, my brother will be going in his Pickup, and then you in your 4runner. thecomedian46 want's to join in his Pickup but his rig is taken apart at the moment so it's a maybe. Also my brother is going to get some of his Toyota buddies to come.

If you don't have one you should just probably put it on to be safe, just in case you want to try something tough.

Yeah man your friend should come along, my brother in-law may bring his XJ.

March 18th is open for me. I'll have my new parts on by then, maybe we can try constrictor as well that day, I'm also down to go on trails sooner if anyone wants.

Depending on how far away and how easy the trail is, i'd be down.

The Snakes trail has two sections. Rattlesnake is pretty easy. A stock 4runner on 31s should have no trouble. There's one spot where a pair of rocks stick up pretty good and a truck that's too low might need sliders. My 1st gen on 30's and a 2 inch lift cleared them, lower trucks might wanna pull their running boards off just in case. There's also a fairly decent rock garden that will probably damage stock rigs, but it's got a bypass.

Rattlesnake technically ends at the Wayne's World obstacle, which frequently defeats built solid-axle rigs with huge tires. I wouldn't even try it without at least 33's and a locker, and even then you'll wanna be ready to repair busted CVs or drivelines. Most rigs that aren't going to try Wayne's World pull off at the tailings pile. Beyond Wayne's World is the Constrictor trail, which I haven't been on, and is significantly more than a stock or mildly built rig should be attempting. The rigs I see heading up there are almost all very built up.

I think I'm probably tied up that weekend, have fun!
