Hello,

I really didn't know where to post this but I was wondering if we (yotatech) have chapters, or does everyone just hook up with local wheelin clubs? I have been collecting a small band of loyal yota guys up here in northern ontario and would like to start a local club.

SO CALLING ALL YOTA WHEELERS in northern ontario, let me know what you think.

Yotatech does not have local chapters like TTORA we are more a multi-national technical/social forum. Members usually just get together with other local members or wheel with other local clubs.
That being said many members here organise "events" or specific trail runs and post the plan/date here for all who are going to be in the area to join in.
If you are planning an event there is a group of off-roaders in the US organizing events called "Wheelers for the Wounded" who arrange to take interested wounded Veterans out on trail runs. Some trips seem to be along the lines of simple day runs where the Vet is picked up at home/the VA and returned at the end of the day to big all weekend events with camping/catering and so forth. If you have the interest you could get in touch with the local Legion Hall about posting an invitation or something to come along on a small trip or something. For a more major undertaking there is a lot of logistical organization that has to happen Moderator Lysmachia is involved with the CoTTORA chapter pm her for more info if interested in this.
In any case good luck with your trail run.

thanks for the reply, the vaterans run seems cool, having spent time in the military I could really get into that. HILUX, I am sure we would all like to call our trucks HILUX but no diesel, no hilux, imho.
