As part of the MDR circuit off road races, the Camburg 200 is going to happen on the 12th of August in Lucerne Valley, CA. Contingency is from 8am to 12pm at Lucerne Valley High School and the race is at NIGHT. There's no time listed for the start of the race, but you get the idea.

I know, it's going to be hot, but I'm willing to make that sacrifice to watch 800hp trucks flying in the desert.

It's about a 3 hr drive from IB so for those that live north of SD figure about 2 hr drive. Should be pretty cool seeing the trucks up close at Contingency and then we can figure out something to do until the race starts.

Carpooling/caravaning would be cool and maybe a little desert running while we're out there to pass the time?

The pics look great, next time you might want to bring a tripod I wish I could have made it by then but... all in good time. Glad you had fun!
