Looking at 89' Toyota xcab

New to the forum. Need help ASAP! I'm looking to buy my first toyota pickup. It's an 89 x-cab with a 3" lift with TSL swampers. It has a rebuilt "3.slow". No rust, the body is in primer...5 speed, etc. The guy selling it said he can't take less than $3900. Is it worth it? The odometer reads 202K. Thanks!

3.crap is a throw away motor
Primer means you have to paint it and primer soaks up moisture
How long has it been primered?
3" lift? What kind?
No rust?
Tire condition? Interior?

Even if it were a mint 89 it isn't worth $3900 IMO.
$2500 tops if mint.

I wouldn't pay anywhere close to that for a truck that has been wheeled. For 3000+ I would want as close to stock as possible and a frame that I can eat off of. Opinions will differ, but I'd guess that anyone who put swampers on their rig beat on it.
