2008 FJ Cruisers coming July 11th
From what I have read, production at the factory will change to 2008 models mid next week.

A few new colors as discussed elsewhere, not sure yet about any more options.

Same 2007 info and off road vid are still up at the site.

I just ordered one a week ago today... No word to the '08 or '07 designation. I certainly will be inquiring.

Whatever year it is, I am sure you will be happy.

In all my years of driving since '73, no vehicle has made me feel as giddy or put a mile wide grin on my face as this one.

I would not trade my FJ for anything.

I'm waiting for the redesign in 2011-2012. I think it will blow my socks off.

Anyone know when that will translate to them being avaliable for purchase? My 4RUnner was written off a few days ago, so I'm going to be looking for an FJ pretty soon.

Possibly in showrooms as early as September.

The main differences between the '07 and the 08's is two new colors, and minus one old color.

I really do not think there is any cosmetical change.

Saw your other thread, glad you are OK.

If you get an FJ, I guarantee a grin on your face everyday you drive or look at it.

Talked to dealer today through email, stated that my order should be ariving in early to mid August and will most likely be an 08 designation.

what are the two new colours, tan & white? I heard there might be a green from ih8mud... anyone heard that?

oops! i posted the wrong link, now i lost the link i was going to post, the REAL link i was going to post was stating from Toyota Japan, that there isa slight chance that by early 2008 Toyota will start selling a Turbo Diesel 4, 6 and 8 cyl. in Central/south america ONLY until of course the emissons passes in North America. Supposedly, Austrailia/New Zealand will be next on the release list.

Went to the dealer after work to get my 4th oil change.

As I was leaving, a transport truck pulled up with a few FJs on it.
Both where black with the white roof, and they were the 08 ones as the wheels were the 5 spoke and not 6 spoke like the 07s.

If I had more time I would have stuck around to check it out, but there really is not much of a difference between them and the 07s.

I would have liked to have seen the tan color.
