Engine Swap 3RZ-FE for a 5VZ-FE.
I just moved into Kanas City, Mo and discoverd my trunck does nnot have enough moxy to keep up with the driving style here. So I interested in
swaping with the 3RZ-FE for a 5VZ-FE. This truck is a 95, 2WD that pretty much kept on the street and abused regularly. (Such as pulling more weight then then manufacture reccommends, worst abuse 26,000 LBs from Idaho to Virginia, crawled 35mph the whole way, Engine and Tranny still good five years later. Clutch, well that another story) Can anybody give me some advice, other then get a bigger truck
It true Toyota's are hard to kill

i think you'll find more info on this specific swap on www.TTORA.com
the 3rz and the 5vz are the 2 (main) engine options on tacomas, and there are a few members on that board who have performed the swap.
