Bad knock sensor in my 95 4runner

I have a 1995 $runner 3.0L V6 4WD...with a bad knock sensor. Being the nub to toyota's that I am I am wondering if anyone can give some help as to what need to be done to replace this. I am confident in my mechanics skill but need direction on exactly what to do to replace it.... i.e. where it is and how to get to it. I am new here and would greatly appreciate any help from the community here.

Well...its totally buried underneath your whole intake system. You will need to remove the plenum and the intake manifold. Not knowing what your mechanical skills are, you will probably need to remove the timing belt as well since the upper tbelt idler is attached to the intake manifold. Its quite a process for anyone who hasnt ever done it or very rarely done it. take your time and make sure you remember where all your vacuum lines go. Dont drop anything into the intake ports
