Need an alarm
hey, guys...I have a tacoma without an alarm system so I need to look for a new one. me and my boyfriend just broke up and he used to take care of all of the car stuff....i don't know too much about the truck. I was looking at buying the alarm from this site...does anyone know if they are any good? or does anyone have a place they can recommend for me to go?
thanks

just what do you want the alarm to do ? just basic stuff like unlock lock doors shock sensor ? or do you want it to start the truck and a page you when it goes off do note this will cost more to have it installed and the alarm its self will cost more

Alarm
Cartoys did mine for $250. The previous owner had a mess under the dash. I didn’t want to mess with it.
1995 make over!
They cleaned it all up and now it all works and looks great. Basic alarm. Lock, unlock, shock sensor and the lights blink as well.

I hate people that make a rat's nest of wiring. It's usually due to laziness. They don't want to cut the wires to fit, and just leave them way too long. The don't zip-tie the wires together properly, either, so they wind up with miles of wire going here, there, and everywhere else. Very annoying to try and trace any of the wires, and I invariably catch my toe in one, or more, and tear them out.
I'm glad the folk that worked on it were professional enough to de-nest your wires, and got everything working. Enjoy!
