Question What are these Off Road mods?

Hey guys and gals, just found this on eBay and I am very intrigued by the off road mods this truck seems to have installed on it. Would be very interesting to follow this unit and if I was in a position to get another Gen 2, I might give this some consideration, then again, maybe there are some mods here that would be a nice fit for a Gen 3? So take a look and comment, what are some of these, does anyone here have any of these installed, recommendations for the mods and some general comments. Hey maybe someone here knows the vehicle, history or maybe even might try to bid.

Can't tell for sure, but it looks like an older FabTech or similar bracket lift on it. The yellow is a little out of control. The interior looks amazing, but I didn't see any pics of the engine bay. Reading the description, the guy selling it doesn't seem to know much about it.
If you're thinking about bidding on it, I would ask for the following:
Carfax report
Pictures of the engine bay.
Information on if the headgasket recall has been done.
If it has been regeared to match the larger tires.

That's all I can think of right now. I do think the BIN price is pretty high for a truck that age, but that's me...

An older bracket lift with a long travel front end, looks to have traction bars in the back a well and maybe a body lift.Even has limiting straps up front, looks like it was done right.

It looks like an old 6" Superlift kit. I saw a 4 Runner pretty much identical suspension wise years ago, called. "MY T High" .

I'd say so! Your not dealing with that much weight. Your talking about that 4runner having to compress 6 shocks in the front? It probably doesn't even move.

2 steering stabilzers too ... anytime I see that many shocks, it makes me say

Looks like a ProComp or Trailmaster lift to me.

It's just a bracket lift with a stock suspension, no long travel. Limiting straps are on the REAR, not the front. No traction bars either, just the stock 5 link setup.

Only thing I would add would be some front cross member braces that goes under the diff cross member to the frame if your going to actually wheel it.

Those 2 extra shocks on the front probably make it ride like a tank. I'd remove those if so.

Oh, and paint all the yellow stuff black!

Off road? Those are on road show truck mods. Nothing wrong with that, but you don't paint things that color yellow unless you want to show it off. The lift and tires give it some ground clearance, but all the extra junk inhibits performance.

Besides being incredibly ugly with the yellow paint, that interior is BEAUTIFUL. It's just begging for someone to get in there and cover it in mud.

Well, from the reflection of his attire in the photo, I believe it's safe to assume he's a bro and that the truck is all show no go.

I am seeing a lot of the Mud Grapplers on bro trucks lately.. I wonder why? You'd think they'd go from something like the Crusher.

Not to mention, that interior is just too damn clean to have been through anything serious. Or, he's very meticulous and likes cleaning.

those top shocks look to be not only worthless but have barely any up travel left and I highly doubt that a suspension system like this would have that much droop. very clean though.

Well its a 3.0L, With an Auto..

Theres the point where ive lost interest.

Plus what it says right on the page:

"95 4Runner 4x4 Limited SHOW TRUCK! BUY IT NOW"

Basically answers are questions to its wheeling capabilities, well that and all the yellow crap underneath that poor runner. Anyone else notice what he used for his second rear bumper .

boooyakashaa,, over the top. Should have spent all that money on worthwhile mods that actually meant something, instead of making people think it can do a lot.

It's not a second bumper, it's a hitch step

Looks like someone through shocks at the truck to see where they would stick. Looks plain ridiculous to me.

It is a piece of crap. I hate whem people add useless crap to lifts. I would spend my money here on another members vehicle before I would buy that rolling turd.

So it has a 4" bracket lift, nothing custom there... a 2" body lift, nothing custom there.. IIRC downey sells that double shock kit, nothing custom there.... so the guy who is selling it really doesnt know crap.. the only custom thing I see is the front brace, which really is just a tubular skid plate, as I doubt it really has any structural integrity.... And its advertised as a HUGE CUSTOM LIFT, about 8"....

Buy it, do a SAS and rear leaf swap.. .no more yellow, and a gorgeous body..
