It starts and runs but fan is jammed into rad and the front wheels are pointing in opposite directions.
Not very driveable right now.
Joking aside, my head is throbbing an I think I may
I should probably go see a Doc about the bump on the head I took.

well the good news is youre ok and there are other 4runners out there. but yea, i can understand your anger.

Go to the hospital!!!
One of my students had a family friend that went to sleep with a concussion and never woke up.
Do you have a creeping headache? If so that'll be the muscles aching from the accident. Provided that everything is okay at the hospital - go home and soak in the tub for a couple hours.
Glad to hear that you're okay.
Disgusting that an uninsured/non-licensed driver thinks that she can drive her kid around

daang dude..i feel your pain. sorry to see such a nice ride go out like that. glad youre ok. buggers that drive with no insurance/liscence should get what they deserve. i hope you wring her dry (for whatever she may have). i was rear ended a couple years ago, and the buddy was on a suspended liscence, and was prohibited from even leaving his province (he was from AB). he tried to run, but i managed to chase him down. he fled on foot where patrol picked him up soon after.
being uninsured and unliscenced definitely made my case that much more complicated. hopefully things down there arent as complicated, and you soon get your ish sorted out and get yourself back on the road.
...and get yourself checked out asap! regardless of how you think you feel...pain isnt usually noticed till a while later. plus, itll get reports n such documented/dated and on file.
good luck bro

Sorry for your loss, that was a sharp 2nd gen. I know what it's like to put your heart, soul & hard earned money into a vehicle, only to have some piece of S*#T ruin it. Talk to a good attorney & document everything.

go get the noggin looked at. BEFORE any more posting. Don't go past go and don't collect $200.....
FOR NOW. Just get yourself taken care of.
Afterward you can worry about the truck. It's a material thing that can be replaced. You can't.
I may not post or come around much, but I do lurk. But as to the trucks go, this place is home when I need stuff or help.
BTW,
I think you got a toe-out problem there.

I spent 5hrs in the ER and they found I had a neat piece of scalp cleanly excised from the top of my head from where I must have hit the roof. Add to the that some bruising from the seat belt and they decided to chest x-rays, and EKG and a cat scan.
Good news is I have a clean bill of health other than a mild concussion and some bruising.
Great news is I have some great pills now
Joking aside, although I was only 2 blocks fom my house, I had my belt on and I would probably be in the ER for a much longer stay without it.
WEAR YOUR BELTS PEOPLE ...THEY SAVE LIVES !!!
Thanks again for all your concern,
David

when you get to feeling better and have had a chance to talk to your insurance company, let me know what I can do to help.
You can always part it out and start over, again.

sorry
Man that is a nice 2nd gen. Atleast you were not in the 23 car accident I ran at 288 and 64. We transported 7 critical patients. If your frame isnt too messed up, I would buy it back and send it to the bodyshop.

he hasn't said yet what insurance coverage he had. I have always carried full coverage on every car I had as long as it was my only car. I wouldn't have it any other way no matter how old it is. Now if it was my second car and a beater then there is no way i would have full coverage.

nrgetic,
Glad to hear it's not too serious. having taken a blow to the noggin though, just take it easy. I spent the first 3 days just relaxing and sleeping with someone checking on me every 20-30 minutes. It sucked.
You may want to look into a ball-joint there too. That right side seems to have too much camber.
I would see a SAS and a 7mge coming real quick now.
