Timing issues....22r
I have seen several post about guys having timing issues...
After I put the D.U.I. distributor in my truck I really started to notice that I could get the timing right.. No matter what I tried it would back fire thru the carb or out the exhaust.. I put the old distributor back in and it would run but not like it should...
Then I started getting all kinds of blow by, that is a whole different issue.
Well to make a long story short, I bought a new engine (not rebuilt)...
While I was putting the distributor drive and fuel pump eccentric on I noticed I couldn't get it to sit right... That is when I noticed the alignment pin had BACKED OUT and was NOT seating in the cam.....UUUGGGGGHHH.
