are these rims too bling bling?
I'm thinking of getting a set of these and 285-75-16 goodyear A/T's with the black side out
they will go on 99 4runner 4x4
I drive mainly street, when I off road I prefer 2 rated trails, 3-3+ trails at the most (I'm locked ). are they too bling bling? btw I live in socal.

I think some 20's in that pattern will be sweet.. ...just keep the wheels you have now to wheel.
Those are nice on an F150 or maybe a Tunda, but not a runner...
come on Martin, just think of all the beer you can buy with that money.

I want to put on 285's, so I need to get 8" rims with 4.5" back spacing. + I want my truck to stand out. I'm worried they'll look all dubbed out. They are not chromed just polished aluminum, man if they made these in a black chrome! I'd be all over it. Marc I'll still wheel with them! one or two more "do it's" and I'm going to go for it.

Tanto, I always seem to get the 'shiniest' truck award when ever I go wheeling and get kidded about "that shure is a perty truck" so I don't mind. Kinda cool when they see where I go and how my truck handles.

my eyes my eyes!!
haha...j/k. they are indeed bling, but if its whatcha want, then get em. if you plan on wheeling them anywhere near big rocks...like say..the hammers, then no id advise to get something you wont mind chewing up, coz they will get chewed up.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please no crome on your Runner. '
You know what would look bad to the bone on your rig? Those Teflon coated Mojave rims. They have a more Sophisticated look but are still practical for trail use.
I think they are made by American Racing and I know they make a 16x8 16" rim.
That would look very cool IMO

Eric, it seems that everyone has rims with holes in them, I don't like being the same as everyone else, I want somethng different. These are not chromed, they are highly polished aluminum. I have the 60's muscle car mentality in me and I like the shiny rims better than the black rims.

Click on Image Gallery and go to the 3rd gallery and check out the white toyota Tacoma with blue flames. It has those Cheyennes'.
