Problem with new paint job
i've recently paint my 94 toyota with krylon's olive camo paint. took about 11 cans and turned out real nice. Pretty scratch resistant and stain resistant except for one thing. bird crap. when it dries on the paint and you go to wash it off, it takes the paint with it. i guess the acid inside of it just burns the paint is there anyway around this? i really like the olvie drab color but its just not that durable!

Keep it clean and when a bird craps on it get it off sooner if you can
A good paintjob that lasts a long time can be tuff you must make sure you clean and prep really really REALLY well. I suck at painting plus hate how long it takes to do a good job.
Looks great and hope it doesnt all peel off on you!

well i never intended this truck to have a nice paint job. i have a daily that has one. This truck is just that. a truck that i can take through a forest of trees and make it out the other side. i'll post some more pics in the newbie section.

Yea I know the fix, epoxy paint. It wont come off for anything pretty much. Course its also like 10 dollars a can or more for the camo colors. You can buy it at brownells.com
