There's a little more snow and ice in CO than charlotte, northfacer! Not sure if she would like the sketchy cornering on snowy mountain passes... (I know I wouldn't!)

i have a detroit in the rear and a lock right up front i would definately like to have a selectable locker in the front but i dont really care about the rear my detroit is very predictable and you just have to modify how you drive a little (stay off the gas in corners) one thing to consider is where you drive if you drive in snow alot definately spend the extra and get full selectables........

I have an aussie in the front of my bronco, and my buddy has a lock right in the front of his 88 runner... we both love them!!! It will bet you places an open diff just wont... There are a few times, like in soft mud that the truck turns differently, but overall, I am 100% happy with my setup!! When I get down to mods to the front of my runner... it will be a 1" diff drop, lock right, taco manual hub swap and tundra brakes...

i just won a detroit ez locker off ebay for 200 bucks anyone use that kind?.i think that a lunchbox style locker(i.e. ev locker,lock-rite,aussie,ect...)does get the best bang for the buck.and as far as arbs go i wouldn't use the because if they get set up wrong they dont work,or a seal wears out ect.you wont find out till its to late. Also a detroit hard locker is the best in my opinon.

In the snow a lunchbox style locker in the front is a little more fun

I would only recomend one if you do a manual locking hub swap... that way all you do is lock ONE hub.... it works good like that.... but without that option its a little harder....

well... I am probably going to SAS my 4Runner, either that or buy a Taco and SAS that and keep my 4Runner for a daily driver... and I think I will go with front and rear ARBs... front recent experiences...

this is what turns me on...
