My exo idea

I was thinking of building some sort of bed bar thing that would extend over the cab a little bit to put some lights on well it evolved into something more extreme. What do you guys think. This would be after i get my sliders and after that i want to do an sas. Any advice or ideas are greatly appreciated.

I've got to agree here. I'm not big on SAS (never really needed it myself) but if you've got the skills and equipment to do an EXO then SAS it first, wheel it, and EXO it later if you feel that you need it.

More triangulation. And you will want alot of lateral strength(side to side). Exos will flex to the side when you flop and bend and dent your rig if you dont.

I love exos if they are done right

I was thinking about SAS but wasn't sure if i quite wanted to do that yet. I dont have a welder or anything of that nature. The extent of my tools is some air tools and the usual. So unfortunatly i wont be doing it myself unless i can get a welder for my birthday or something. Also im not so sure i need SAS that much yet. Im planning on the truck being the toy offroad only truck once i get older and get another DD, I need to research that more too then i might consider it some more. Thanks for all the input. Thanks 2door, i was just trying to show a side view for the moment. both of them would be a pretty slow gradual process.
