Probably a long shot but does anyone know where you can find a new OEM A/C kit for a 1993 Toyota Pickup V6 4x4 ? (it's probably the same A/C kit on all the 3vze's from 88-95 I would imagine). I've seen a guy selling one on a local discussion board a while back for a 22RE of the same years as mine but not a 3vze.

If you’re looking for an aftermarket kit, ackits.com has it. If you're looking for genuine Toyota, they probably still have some left, although you may have to piece it together.

yeah, looked into that a bit, but too expensive...you can also try a junkyard scrounge, but it'd be a tossup if everything was in good working condition.

i've been debating installing one of the ackits.com kits, the nice part is that it's set up for R134A rather than R12 like the factory units.

Do you guys know what year they switched to R134A in the 90-95 V6 4runners or 89-95 V6 pickups? I thought it was 93?
