1st gen 4Runner Matchbox car
ok i know MANY of us have been waiting a LONNNNG time to see something like this:
2011 Matchbox #74
some are selling right now on fleabay, but for ridiculous prices. this matchbox site indicates this truck was in an "outdoor sportsman" 10-pak, but will be available packaged singly in 2011. i'll wait 'til i see it in the local toy store.

I gotta find one of those for sure. I love Match Box and Hot wheels cars. My 2 year old son prob has close to 200. I can sit and dig through them for hours, just picked him up another 10-15 the other day.

OMG. I have been wanting some form of model of a first gen for many years. Extremely awesome find. Just gobbled one up off eBay and plan to get a few more!

And someone mentioned that they wished someone would make a 1st gen 4Runner with a removable top - I got this from another member a few years go, I'm sorry I can't recall who though. Here ya go:
And its much larger than the Matchbox:
Plus, its got solid axles:

And here's the part where my heart sinks...
I just barely remember having one of those :-(
I remember the clips that held the top on... And you could pop out the "glass" from inside the top.
