Slider Box Instead of Shackles?
I've been reading tons of threads about SAS', frot and rear leaf springs, and shackles here on Yotatech (Lots of great info) but I have never seen anyone running these:

They look stout and seem like a good alternative to shackles. I've done some reading on them and everything I've read seems to tell me that they improve lateral stability and not affect spring rate when compared to shackles (especially long ones). I have searched Yotatech only to have numerous results of rock sliders and leaf spring threads so my question is:
Does anyone have any experience/ pros and cons of using these? If so, front, rear, or both? If not, what do you think of them?

So I've been doing a bunch of reading on these things and apparently they are much better suited on track car applications than aggressive articulation offroad applications. This link pretty much sums it up:

See illustration 5 for a slider specific example. It's a pretty good article that covers shackle angle and effects as well as some leaf spring tech.
