My 4runner has sprung a leak

I just wanted to get some opinions on where it might be coming from. I think its the timing cover but may e yall have some other ideas. I adjusted the valavea last week and replaced the half moons and the valve cover gasket and the grommets. Its leaked for awhile before i bought it but there is oil all over the front and down both sides of the engine. The front axle is covered and some was even up in the passenger side fender well. It used two quarts on a 60 mile trip the other day which is as far as i e driven it nonstop yet. When i stopped there was oil drippin everywhere cuz it had blown all over the place. I put a quart of lucas in it and another quart of oil hoping to slow it down some and cleaned it all up. Now it doesnt seem to be leaking atleast not near as bad so idk. If yall have any ideas id appreciate them. Im gonna do some more investigating before i got thru all the trouble to take the timing cover off and reseal it. Ill try to get some pictures of all the oil and where its at this afetrnoon

I would clean off the engine the best you can. Drip against a clean canvas is going to be easier to find

Yeah it seems to only leak when its hot like during a long drive and only when its running but the fan is blowin it around everywhere. Its got 294,000 on it so i can deal with some small leaks but this one is bad

Dropzone is right...you have to get it clean and dry. Then, let it idle for as long as it takes to get it to leak.
