Deaver Rear Springs 1st Gen?
Newb here, I just picked up a nice 86 1st gen 4runner. The PO has the rear on 4 inch lift blocks with stock shackles and leafs. I am REALLY on a budget so need some advice.
A guy is selling a set of 4 inch Deaver leaf springs (11 pack) that have rebuilt by Alcan and coated with new bushings for $150. I know this would require new shackles for the top bolt. I dont mind losing a small amount of lift in the process as the rear is a little high now. This rig is for mild to mid rock crawling not racing.
What do you guys think?
