Angry broken injector connectors

Hi.

engine work on a 95 3.0.
Two of the small tabs that hold the connector onto the injectors snapped off. Anyone had experience replacing them or ideas what to do now? Where to get replacements?

How about that short feeder line from the connector down to the knock detector. Yeah, busted that one too. yippee-yi-yo.

Thought I'd ask before the small yellow bus gets here to take me away.

Red face

A few years ago a Celica/Supra person had come across something like that in the parker catalog.

Being Parker it wasn`t cheap.

Here's a good write-up on how to replace the connectors.

Here's the part # for the knock sensor wire.

connecting

Thanks MudHippy.
I feel like such a moron. All these connectors are far and away the toughest part of these things. Add poor light, can't find my glasses... Maybe just need more beer.

why not just put a very small dab of super glue on them but not too much where you cant get them off if need be. i did this to my old 79's alternator plug cause the clip was broke. just one drop and plug it in.

all the connectors are on my fuel injectors are very old and brittle too. I just lightly pressed the lock on one to unplug it and it broke in my hand. I used a dab of butyl to old it on. can easily get the connector off if needed.....but there is no way it can pop off by it self. Butyl more or less a sticky black ribbon caulking used to seal bolt in glass on vehicles
