87 4Runner W56 Transmission question

I just bought an 87 4Runner of a guy, with a supposedly rebuilt 5 speed in it. I was waiting for this guy to put the transmission in to buy it from him. Well he put the tranny in and it wouldnt go into any gear. I went down there today, listened to it and made him an off and bought the truck. From what I can tell, it seems that maybe the guy that rebuilt the transmission may have not gotten the shift forks lined up properly. The shifter will move side to side, but will not go into any gear. You can look into the tranny and see that the shaft is spinning the way it should be. If you push in the clutch there is no noise, but when you release the clutch there is a little rattling in the tranny, which sounds like maybe the shift fork rubbing a gear or something to that affect. What I am looking for, is if anyone else has had this issue, and also if anyone has a tranny manual for this thing so I can tear it appart and try and fix it. I did a quick search and a couple people were talking about a pdf version of the FSM for this thing but I couldnt find it. If anyone has a copy they could send me or a link to it please let me know. Thanks guys!
