33x13.50-15's will fit a stock toyota pickup

SWWEEEEETTT! I finally got some new tires, Pit Bull Rockers to be exact. When I went to have them mounted and balanced the owner of the store told me they wouldnt fit the rim. I have 15x8 rims on my truck and yes they fit. But be sure to only run 25 psi in the tires. Without them being on a 10in wide rim the middle of the tire pushes out when inflated.
After proven wrong he then preceded to tell me that they will not clear the fender wells. Wrong again. Just for sport I had the workers in the shop mount one tire on the driver side and what do ya know, they fit. Oh and they only rub when your backing up with the tires fully turned. I payed the man, flipped him the bird and went to play in the mud

So that's all great under the static weight of the truck, but how about when the suspension is compressed?

Don't you think flipping the guy the bird was a little... immature? I wonder how much your front wheel liners will be torn up in the next while.

Um wow. You all are really funny and very stupid. I have been offroading since I was 16 and I have been through a lot of tough spots. But when I say I know something about my rig then its because I know about it. I make these tires for living so no I dont need a lift. No, I am not going to blow a tire by going over a large up, all it does it get the truck a little air born. NO, they dont rub any unless I am backing up. AND I dont have front wheel liners anyway. ALSO I had been to the tire mans shop 3 or 4 times before for different things and I know what I am doing. Im right, hes wrong and an idiot. So yes flipping him the bird while he wasnt looking was very immature. But it was awesome. So if anyone else has anything negative to say about what I have done then take it somewhere else. I have done everything to this truck and it was my first truck. I may not have money for a lift for 38s or 39s, but I have friends that give me 33's. Im from small town Erwin, Tn. And we know how to play in the mudd. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.

Wow... I didn't know it was possible to be so immature. The only point I can see to this thread is for axle09 to demonstrate how immature he is. Sad...

Umm.... if they rub when fully turned and backing up, then they are really going to rub when fully turned and your suspension is compressed. ON the brightside, you could probably throw away your compression bumpstops as you'll probably never hit them again.

So, you've been wheeling about a year then? I mean you act like you're 12, so even 17 is giving you the benefit of the doubt.

How does working in a tire factory make you an expert on fitment? If I want to know about compound or belting or how to make a tire, you'll be the first one I call. How to put what size on what rig? Ummm ... maybe not.

Look - 33x10.50 is pushing it - it works on MOST rigs, but not all. You want us to believe you fit 33x13.50, we're gonna need some pictures. Preferably with the suspension compressed and the steering turned a bit.

It IS possible that you found some magic combination of fender clearance and wheel offset that works. Just not very likely.

Are you running those Pitbull Rockers as your Main Street tire?? If you work in the factory that makes them, then you already know they wear faster than Swampers!

Anyway, That's Great that you were able to fit Your Rockers. A buddy of mine bought some Pitbull Rockers for his Scrambler, but they were on Toy rims, so We mounted them on my truck 1st, just to see what it would look like with 35x14.50's. Mind you, it had 31x10.50's on it before and after these pics were taken. I have also shackled the front to level the truck since these pics were taken.

I know, I need to move my front axle forward. This is where my Super lift springs put it.

Sorry about the quality of the pics, I took them with my Cell Phone.

I WISH I COULD RUN THESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goes to Show, Just because you can mount a tire on a truck and only have it rub a "Little" doesn't mean it is the best option.
These only rubbed when I turned the wheel. lol

Enjoy your ride and Quit being a Drama Llama!

Can you get some pics? And what kind of truck do you have anyway? I never saw mention that.

Your rig looks awesome grant and I am going to send some pics. these guys think that I am so stupid and working at a tire factory does make me know about fitment. We have to know what trucks they will go on before we we by them. But hey Ive only been doing this for a short while...(yeah right). So look at some pics ans tell me what you think and then just call me stupid if thats what you want. But I thought this forum was supposed to be somewhere where toyota guys can come hang, shread some info, and tell stories about their rigs. Guess I was wrong.
