9+HP for '03+ 4runner V6 for under $250.00?? K&N

This is a link to the official K&N filter site. Look at the FPK gen II filter system for the 2003 V6 4.0L engine. There is a dyno chart showing an awesome power gain from just changing the air filter system......
My question is: Has anyone purchased this FIPK kit, and if so, has anyone noticed a difference in driving? 9+ HP should give a 'seat of the pants' difference in my opinion.....
What other air intake would you guys recommend for a 2003 V6??

Yeah at 5300 rpms. You will not notice it. A big waste of money. Check out Gadgets site. Its for a 3rd gen. but applies to all. Here is the link:http://www.gadgetonline.com/

Dont bother. I had one on my 04 V8 for a while and i think i lost power. It didnt have the same low end punch as it did stock. I took it off and havent looked back yet.

this has addressed and debated many times. search.
i have one and got it for $185 shipped off ebay. not a wa$te when you consider alternatives beside this, except OEM. cheap for bolt on HP increase.
i like it. noticeable performamce increase, but definitly small. sounds good. more responsive across the rpm's. about 1-2 mpg increase, unless im at 5300rpm
would have considered other mods (deck plate...) had i been here b4 i bought it.
