I'm with Sac State, just swap the cladding out. As far as the gadgets go, "Best Buy" has a ton of 'em for you.
With regards to the headlamps, has anyone tested out John Deere or any other industrial bulbs in the 4th Gen? I'll bet you can get better lighting and save yourself some bucks on the replacement of the current bulbs compared to swapping to the projectors. But hell, I don't even know what bulb goes in my 4th Gen. If it's a 9005, then it can be swapped for a JD industrial bulb that produces more lumens.
Just a thought. Cheers,
Doug M.

Anybody got more pictures of the 06? These from Edumunds don't look like they have round fender wells.

Wonder what the new tv commercials will look like? Maybe more comical and rugged like the Taco ones? Those are very highly popular spots

Wow, huge improvement! They fixed almost everything that I didn't like! Sweet! I like the more rounded flares way better too.
Are they doing away with the DRLs now? Or have they been gone for the past few years now?
I might have to get one of these in a few years. Still hard to beat a 3rd gen though. But, it is a big improvement.
Rock on Toyota! Just bring us a Diesel!

Taken directly from toyotausa.com. Not sure if that means L.E.D. or regular bulbs though.

I looked at some this weekend... but still wasn't impressed.
It still looks too tame and boring.
They should have copied more of the rugged look from the tacoma.

I think they do have L.E.D. bulbs in the tails. In that one picture that JasonB linked too, it appears that there are 12 large L.E.D.s per side.
New upgrades are soooo much better! Still think the top of the grill sticks out too far, but what a huge improvement!
