check the battery posts. i had an embarrassing moment when i went to be a savior and pull someone that was stuck out while offroading. after i hooked up the tow strap, i couldn't start my truck. it was just the terminal clamps. lots of corrosion, just cleaned them up, tightened them down, and no more problem.
