wiper malfunction?
Hey this has been a problem of mine for a while but I forgot to ask. When I push the button to turn on the wipers and the fluid It works for two passes and then stops before completing the cycle and going back to the bottom of the windshield. They also stop immediately if I turn them off after being on. It is really annoying to have them stop in the middle of my view of the road.
Is this normal behavior or should I srart taking the thing apart? TIA

I tested it per the manual and when I have the jumper from 3 to 5 and power to 6 the wipers go back to the correct stopping position. What is this testing and if it works when tested why not when operated from the switch? Thanks.

I had the same issue and it turned out to be the power wire. You have a wire going to the motor that is always hot if the ignition is on. This is what allows it to return to 'park' when you turn them off. It sounds like you fixed the connection with this wire, for the others, just check this hot wire, or make a hot jumper and see if it makes you wipers work correctly.
