i'm running BMW e30 seats

the sport seats are body binding, and comfy, but i chose the regular ones b/c i bought a 90 325i for a track car, and they are in very nice shape...

they didn't mount perfectly, and in all honesty a pita, but now that they are in, they are staying in...

the original seats are on my balcony, and if i sit in them, my ass hits the back support bar...they are for sale if anyone wants em, the pass. seat is perfect. (no rips, no tears, just a bit worn down drivers lower foam)

Got some '92 Corolla seats from a U-pull it, cleaned them up and fabed some brackets. Feels like a differnet truck. No more bench seat stabbing me inthe back.

Dime, I was thinking about racing seats but the cost ! $$$ , My wife also wanted seats that she could see over the wheel with and are comfortable. So I went the Corolla cruiser way. I like yours though, looks good. The seat belts on mine interchanged, no fab needed for the belts to work.

yea i wouldnt have bought racing seats. They are nice but for the money i would have gone with some stockers from another car. I just wish he left me the seat belts cause they should mount on the seats just fine and these seat actually sit at a nice height, i wouldnt mind having them sit a little lower. But they were in a way free lol might get rid of them later down the road who knows

Got them both in. I am real happy with the factory look. If it wasn't my DD I probably would have gone with racing buckets. These feel soooo much better, they hug me into the seat.

Scuba, you can do the same seat lift with washers. Might be cheaper too......you prolly already have them laying around in your garage....

No washers lying around...
And I know bro, The polyurathane roger makes them out of seems like a better and more eye apealing way anyway.
Thus why he took out his washers and made the "lift"

The previous owner of my 95 4Runner installed leather front buckets and rear seats from a later model Toyota, plus a console. He kind of half assed them in, I've been fixing them up. Only three of the four mount points line up, a longer bolt and sleeve fixed the off mount.
The driver's side bucket is a power seat, it wasn't hooked up so I spend last weekend laying down some wire and bolting the seat and seat belts securely to the truck. Tonight I'm going to hook the main power to the seat(with a 30A fuse) to one of the heavier duty lines under the dash. I tried it on a 10A line but it fried the fuse, so I'm giving it it's own power line.
I even hooked up the seat belt so the warning light works.

Just a question...but why are those considered bucket seats? I can't see any of those holding you in...might as well be a bench. When I think of bucket seat I think of a Sparco or something like that. lol.

Don't get all butt-hurt either because you know 2wds rule the world
