well boys...this is goodbye :(

hey guys,
so my truck hasnt been doing to good here lately, and ive needed a new one for a while. well today my dad gets home and we start talking and he tells me that he found a 2004 Nissan Xterra for a good price. Well we go take a look at her and sure enough shes in my drive way now. so this means goodbye 4runner I know it sucks, hell i might cry when she drives away for the last time, i mean she was my first vehicle. but right now shes not very dependable and i need something that will get me through college. However im not out of the toyota world for good. when i get a little more financially stable there will be another in my life. thanks to everyone who has provided me help and advice throughout the years ill be back

Xterras are nice man. Way more power than Toyota puts in their rigs.

I have built a few bumpers for them as well

I'd do the same thing in your position. don't dog on yourself over it.

slap a locker, some nice tires and skids.. you can go more places than jeeps

watch out for the skid plate when ur doin oil changes.... they dont have safety brackets. last time i did one, i took out the last bolt, and the thing fell on my face and knocked me out cold for a few seconds. other than that, enjoy!

That sucks man (about having to sell the 4Runner, not the X), that's a clean looking '86. Wish you were a little closer...

i wouldn't feel so bad, i mean i love my 4runner and all but my mom has a pathfinder and its BA i can only assume the xterra is similar. i would consider an xterra.

idk if ur x is auto or 5 speed but my moms pathfinder is auto and if u step on it it will shift at 6 grand. it hauls.

That's a really nice 86. You should keep it if you can. They are getting harder and harder to find. I really like the paint. Is that the original stripes that go onto the hood?

I wish I never sold my blue 86 4Runner a few years back. The 90 I have now is nice but it's not the same, those 1st gens were tanks.
