Washer Fluid and Low Beams Quit Working
Ok, so here's a strange one. A few days ago I posted the the brake, battery and oil temp light were coming on intermittently. Someone had advised that it usually means the alternator is on its way out. Yesterday I replaced the alternator and even though I know better, I didn't disconnect the battery. I blew the 80 amp fuse and of course the truck wouldn't start. Today I replaced the fuse and everything seemed fine. Tonight I found some odd occurrences:
1). My washer fluid won't squirt. Motor is not pumping.
2). The low beams on my headlights don't work, but my high beams do. With my high beams, the high beam light on the dash doesn't come on, and it's just the standard brightness (not actually high beams).
3). My dome light now actually comes on and goes off with the door opening and closing. This is something that hasn't worked since I bought the truck and has been driving me nuts. The light always worked off the switch, but never off of the doors.
Anyone have any ideas? I looked in the book, and it doesn't appear that the washer fluid and headlights are connected in the fuses. Going to dig into it further tomorrow, but I figured I would throw it out there in case anyone has run into it before.
Thanks
