Wow...

Yes, '86 was the start of the hi-trac front suspension system as well as the EFI'd 22r series.

you really need to check out www.hiluxsurf.co.uk to see what we could only dream of. And for the hilux, look on an Aussie Hilux forum and drool, trust me when i say Toyota was way ahead of it's time in Japan/Australia/UK. the Hilux was offerd with a PTO winch in some countries. the Surf never came with the option for the winch but PTO was always there for a winch set-up.

also check out the late 80's Toyota Blizzard to see a factory PTO winch.

There was one available (I'm from Canada). I have the original handbook for 4Runner, and it has it listed in it, and I have the original brochure for the 4Runner and I think it also has it listed. When I get a chance, I'll go dig up my brochure and post it up!

Here you go guys!

I know it's at crappy quality -- ImageShack wouldn't let me upload at the original 4000 x 3000 size I took it at, but it should do for most of you -- I actually didn't see the winch listed in the options list, but, I know it's in the owner's manual, and there are repair instructions in the service manual!
