Don't take this the wrong way but with the top off it just looks like a pickup truck with no rear window... not sure how that is "topless"... the cab is still completely enclosed.

A jeep with no doors/no top/windshield down is sweet I can't deny that Nice looking rig though. I have never seen a 1st gen that clean.

Yes, its called a half-cab. Like the old Broncos, K5 Blazers, Ramchargers?, International Harvester, etc (if there are anymore).

Well first of all thanks for the positive comment.

Now im not quite sure how you dont think that is topless?

Let me explain something here. Now if you take your shirt off, you are what? ShirtLESS. If someone punches you in the mouth and one of your teeth fall out, you are what? ToothLESS. Lets say you have no teeth at all. You would be teethLESS. So If i go out in my front yard and take the top off my 4 runner, it is what?.................. Yep you guessed it, TOPLESS. Im sorry that the cab is still covered but you cant argue that its not topless.

I have never towed anything with it but it is possible. You could easily tow a small trailer or a jet ski. If i was going to tow anything with it though i would definitely weld it to the frame.

your truck gives me great inspiration. One question tho I wanna do the downey 3" springs and the ball joint spacers as well how much did you have to turn the front t bars up to get it to sit where it sits? also whats the offset on your wheels any rubbing?

I have the same bumper on my DD i've pulled a Toyota Tercel on a dolly (100 miles or so) and a full sized Chevy (only a few hundred yards) but it held up just fine. I'd say the chevy was at least a 6k lb rig

BMC,

By far one of the cleanest first gens I've seen.
I have to admit though, I am glad I don't have a nice paint job on mine.

Bumpers look awesome, I'll be going with that same rear bumper also.

I'm not a very big fan of runners but I have to say, damn that rig is rediculously clean and well accessorized... she needs some mud though!
