I've searched around and couldn't find a thread about this. Have any of you guys ever put a tool box in the back of your 1st gen 4runner, if so how do you secure?? Pics Plzz?

I dont have one in a 4runner, but I would think just getting one to fit inside the cargo area, then just drilling 4 bolt holes thru the tool box and floor board then bolting it down with grade 8 bolts would work just fine.

I have a small one, I got it at Home Depot. It's held down by a tie down.

Sweet, see i wanna get a soft top, but then you will have issues with people breaking. You know, i want something with a good lock to put my cb in, cd player head unit, tools, etc.. etc..

It is now on my car trailer. But I'm going to replace it with one of those smaller siderail toolboxes worked into my exo cage...to store my compressor and air tank and protect them from the elements and lunkheads.

Talking

Scott, (responded to your email, address doesn't work)

It is an AWS tool box. You can find the same one on their website. I picked it up locally. Not only does the top fold up, but the front folds down and there is an empty space in the center and two sides with 5 or 6 pull out trays. Great storage.

I hope that helps.
