Stupid problem with heater controls that change position by themselves...
The heater control moves by itself when I accelerate on my 1993 pickup....
The control panel itself seems fine and it "clicks" and locks in every position but it looks like the gravity force applied to one heater door is enough to overcome that...
What's the best way to correct that?

Now, it moves by itself...
You're right! I haven't thought about it...
I figured it while I was driving, I tried to return the heater control to "Defrost" and I noticed that the accelerator pedal tried to move up...
Then I stopped the engine and here what was happening!

Now I need to replace the rubber at the end of the throttle cable. It has split in two and one part now touches a lever on the heater box... I tried to fix it temporarily with a tie wrap.
