Removing Panel Under Steering Wheel

I'am trying to replace the panel under the steering wheel as well as the panel on the passenger side because mine were broken and scratched. I managed to get the passenger side in easy, but the one under the steering wheel is a pain because it is attached to the hood and gas door release and i cannot get them off, the screws they have in there are ridiculous.

I'am just lookin for some helpful hints to get these off from someone who might have already done this before.

Thanks.

I just removed my entire dash... wasn't too bad. Just pull down on the gas door and hood release levers (like you do when you open them), and remove the screws holding them on, then, push the levers towards the front of the vehicle to remove them from the piece of panel.

Its not bad there are like 5 or 6 screws that are pretty easy to see and get to and then you just kinda work with it. The little trim thing around the ignition switch will get in your way but its a pretty stright forward thing to do.
