Post Your Pics!!!
^ Wow! Crazy clean for the east coast
New here!
Just posting up a pic of my 91 3.0 that I bought a month or so ago with a new set of 32s I put on last week.
short term plans are to beef up the suspension to hold a flatbed and rack for a RTT. As well as mount a winch on the front in a few more weeks hopefully.
Long term plans will be an SAS, 3.4 swap and regear to run a set of 35s once it has the swap and motor.

Fairly new(ish?) to posting on the forums, but this is Ol' Faithful, met her back in May of '09.
She's rocking the 3.0 with a 5 speed. All stock except the stereo and the new lack of running boards. She's done what I've needed her to, and then some.
Up close she's not the cleanest, though I can say she's the cleanest runner where I live.
Being photogenic on the Hood Canal.
Let's finish this post with a beautiful picture of the both of us.
If I don't treat her like a human being, she'll leave me stranded somewhere. It's happened 3 times, and last time her harmonic balancer went out. Caught that before it did any damage.

After weeks of waiting for my el cheapo red/clear tail light lenses and clear turn signal lenses to show up, they finally arrived! Also got a sweet katakana badge for the grille.

92 4x4, 4cyl, 5spd. Total Chaos long travel, T-100 front cv's, Bilstien 7100's in front, Fox in rear, 4.88 gears, 35" KO2's, spooled rear, 9k winch, interior cage, and other junk.
Much of it's use is for volunteering at Ultra4 and Best In The Desert races, where I help with recovery and locating stranded racers. And apparently all the above crap I listed is already at the bottom of my post. Yeah for whiskey!

My 1989, with the 3VZE @ 367,000 miles. Pretty much stock, an extra leaf in the rear leaf packs, did a manual hub conversion because the 89 was one of the unfortunate years that came with automatic locking hubs. Softopper, that is about it.

89 SR5 V6 212,000 Mi.
Restoration project. Rescued this one minutes from the wrecking yard picking it up. Good looking ride 89fourrunner. That's the first one just like mine I've seen.

1st Gen 4runner - 1987
Hey Friends, I decided to join the group. I have been perusing the info on this site for a few weeks. I recently obtained my 1st gen 87 SR5 as a partial trade. Ive been a Ford and Dodge guy forever, and begrudgingly accepted this runner as a partial trade for another truck. I must say, after a few weeks of tinkering on it, its growing on me. My main issue with the rig is the wire that connects to the knock sensor melted in an apparent engine fire. The check engine light comes on at 2,000 RPM and the timing retards so bad its hardly mobile. Currently searching the site to figure out how to fix this issue.
Just added FJ wheels, full tune up, all new fluids and filters. A million trips to the car wash....Several rub downs with the buffer. She was neglected, but is slowly making it back to the sharp SUV she once was.
