you'll notice the locker when you lift a wheel; I didn't see anything that would need the locker going up that red clay hill. The first thing I did when I got my ARB's was to go & get it as off-camber as possible; when it started spinning & refused to move I locked it in & smiled.

Why dont you take a look at the back left tire at the base of the hill. This would be very hard/impossible unlocked

I watched it again...didn't see any need for a locker. I could get up that open/open I'm 100% positive. I'm not knocking your rig or your driving or anything else, just saying on mine, if you don't lift front & back on opposite sides at the same time clear of the ground....it goes; and so have all the other open diff four wheel drives I've ever owned, for example my 85 chevy, my 86 dodge, my 87 bronco, my 98 isuzu etc.
Well, the isuzu has an lsd but it sucks so bad it might as well be open.

well he basically didn't spin a wheel at all anytime during the vid....i'd like to see you take an open/open rig up that and NOT spin a tire AT ALL....
and he prolly didn't wanna get too extreme with it just yet lol

Yeah.. it goes untill you loose traction on one tire and you're done..
Open diffs wouldve required some wheel spin to make it up there.

i just orderd a aussie locker cant wait to get it in the hills never look as steep in the video or picss the are in person.i tooks some pics of my rig on a super steep hill and it looked great in person when i got home and looked at the pics i kept saying it was wayyyyy steeper than it looks in the pics

I just took my buddy out last night to show him what a locker does. He's been in my rig & seen them used but never really understood about the opposing wheel lift. (the majority of people don't)
I found a little knoll about 10ft. high & 5ft. wide & approached it open fr/rr @ about a 33 degree angle; I crawled up until it lifted my drivers side front tire & my passenger side rear tire. Once it was spinning I applied the brakes & explained what was happening & then locked my rear ARB & then the front waited a second to explain what that did & then proceeded to put it in such a steep lean he was telling me "OK OK I GET IT!"

If you notice on :24 the back left is stuffed due to the rock on the right. Ofcourse it was bigger than it looks. Ive owned one open and one lsd neither of them would even think taking this line. Im sure you could ram it but not much room to get any speed

If that's directed at me, I'm sorry I hurt your feelings but you made a statement about what would be possible & what wouldn't & I simply pointed out where & why you were mistaken. By viewing the images I figured you didn't know how open vs. locked differentials worked so I made mention of it.
In all the pics save one & the entire vid you have four tires planted at all times; no need for a locker, at least not if you have four wheel drive since I can see you're got appropriate tire tread for such a mild grade & solid ground. In the last shutterfly pic you linked that showed one wheel in the air you would make use of a locker with the wheel lifted like that, especially in two wheel drive & possibly in the mud pic but you can't see the traction available to the other three tires so that pic is irrelevant except for the cool factor.
When all four tires are on the ground & getting traction a locker won't change anything.
Nice truck, nice images, now go out & take it somewhere the locker is really needed.

I would disagree with your statement that when you have your tires on the ground that you do not need a locker, or that a locker is only needed when you lift a tire. There are usually huge difference in the amount of traction between the left and the right depending on the surface (loose gravel) and weight on the tires.
Going up a steep hill you need a lot of traction, and an axle that will work for you and not against you (open diff). I love my e-locker.
