Question Need some lift help! will this fix itself ?

Just installed new OME front torsion bars and Rear Dakar leaf springs. my measurements from top of rim to fender lip are 14.5 in. on both sides in front but on the rear I get 15.5 on the right and 14 3/4 on the left ??? please tell me these springs will settle in evenly eventully. the lift is only 2 days old for the rears and this is a 86 4runner. Any ideas how I can even this out, or am I freaking prematurely???

I'd say give it some time. Your leaf springs will settle. You need to flex them some though.

You can adjust the front suspension for a bit more lift as well if they don't settle as far as you'd like.

Mine have leveled out after a month or so of daily driveing and one wheeling adventure. they may be off ever so slightly, but the only way I notice is to use a tape measure.

be sure to let me know how you like the OME torsion bars, thats one thing I have not done yet

Pics please

hahaha....something funny going on there.....if you have it perfectly 'level' in the front with 14.5 on both sides ......then that means it will be perfectly level in the back. If the rear numbers are different like yours then you have un-even front fenders...or a tweaky frame....or an un-even bed.
Find some different reference or measurement points.

Like...measure the distant from the leaf center pin to the frame on either side of the rear.

I know that you shouldn't take shackle and leaf bolts to torque until sitting on the ground. loosen them up a bit, let it sit normally and then torque them on the ground.

That always works the best in Jeep lifts.
