need help to i.d a part.
So my 87 4runner has a small coolant leak. It only drips a tiny bit after it's warmed up. I finally located the place the leak is coming from but don't know what it's called. And I know my engine is dirty. I also had a small oil leak that I fixed and haven't had time to clean it yet. Thanks for your help.
The hose starts from the bottom of the radiator.
Here you can see the drip.
It then ends up right here.
Is this something that is easy to replace? Or would I need to take it somewhere?

Your truck is an automatic right? Those would be the hoses that run from your auto tranny to the small section of the radiator that cools the tranny. There is tranny fluid in those lines, not coolant. There is probably a leak a little higher up and it just runs down and onto the lines. Take a closer look.

Could be a leak anywhere on the rad. Coolant could be running down and that is just where you happen to see it. I would top up the rad and take it for a drive to get it up to temperature. Then use a flashlight or something and look over the rad front and back for wet spots. Most likely you'll see a wet trail from the leak down to that hose you noticed the coolant on.
